Increased Humidity, Increased Risk Of Late Day Storms
Humidity and moisture will stream northward as the day progresses, resulting in a rather tropical feel out there today in the Delaware Valley. Showers and storms will start to pop in the afternoon hours across the region, likely increasing in coverage as we work towards the dinner hour and into Sunday night. Some of the showers and storms could be locally drenching in spots. The Philadelphia metro is under a Flash Flood Watch starting Sunday night and continuing through Monday.
Not everyone will see showers and storms tomorrow during the day but you will notice the increase in moisture and humidity throughout the region.
Highs tomorrow get into the mid 80's away from the ocean, with the Shore likely hanging out around 80 for a high. With dew points likely running around 70, it will feel several degrees warmer.
Showers and storms will be their most numerous around the region on Monday and Monday night, with the potential for the region to pick up a couple of inches of rain in spots.
