Look for a mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday. It will be breezy and less humid with an isolated shower or sprinkle, but many areas won't see one. Highs will be in the low 80s in Philadelphia and near 80 in the suburbs. Northwest winds could gust to 30 mph at times in the afternoon.
A low pressure system will move in on Thursday and bring us more rain and thunder that we don't need. The rain could come down hard at times too, especially late in the day, so the evening commute could be slow-going. It does not look good for the start of the U.S. Open.
There could be a leftover shower Friday morning, but weak high pressure builds in during the afternoon, so I'll still call it the pick-day of the work/school week. The first half of the weekend looks great with mostly sunny skies. There will be a few extra clouds around for Sunday (Father's Day), but it should be another dry day. Our next shower and storm chances will be Monday and Tuesday.
