June 12th, 2013 Forecast

Other than a few clouds, there isn't much weather happening tonight.  Humidity will be lowering through the night, so when you step out tomorrow morning it will feel much different than it did this morning.  Lows will be in the 59 to 64 range region-wide, so it'll be rather pleasant for you early morning joggers.  Winds will be out of the west at 5 to 15 mph.

Look for a mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday.  It will be breezy and less humid with an isolated shower or sprinkle, but many areas won't see one.  Highs will be in the low 80s in Philadelphia and near 80 in the suburbs.  Northwest winds could gust to 30 mph at times in the afternoon.

A low pressure system will move in on Thursday and bring us more rain and thunder that we don't need.  The rain could come down hard at times too, especially late in the day, so the evening commute could be slow-going.  It does not look good for the start of the U.S. Open.

There could be a leftover shower Friday morning, but weak high pressure builds in during the afternoon, so I'll still call it the pick-day of the work/school week.  The first half of the weekend looks great with mostly sunny skies.  There will be a few extra clouds around for Sunday (Father's Day), but it should be another dry day.  Our next shower and storm chances will be Monday and Tuesday.
