June 22nd, 2013 Forecast

After a series of nice and comfortable days, another stretch of 90-degree days will visit us next week, with some showers and thunderstorms.  The good news is that you can enjoy the rest of the weekend under sunny skies and warm temperatures.

Tonight, another cool night on tap with light winds out of the west.  Lows will hover around the 60-degree mark in most locations, dipping into the mid- to upper 50's towards the north and west.  Winds out of the west at 5 to 10 mph until after midnight, then turning calm.  Tomorrow, another great day into the mid-80's under mostly sunny skies.  Humidity will continue to remain low with winds turning from the south at 5 to 10 mph.

By Sunday, we'll be flirting with 90-degrees under partly sunny skies.  The start of next work week we'll be into the 90's, starting with Monday.  We'll also start bumping up the humidity ahead of the next system.  By Tuesday, we'll be seeing hazy sunshine early, with a chance of pop-up showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon.  Highs will be into the lower 90's with lows in the lower to mid-70's, meaning not too much relief at night.  Wednesday will be hazy and humid, with scattered showers and t-storms, mostly in the afternoon.  High's stick in the lower 90's.  Thursday will feature some showers and storm in the early afternoon with slight clearing in the evening.  Any one of these days with precipitation won't be a total washout but could have some heavy downpours and gusty winds.  High's Thursday will be in the upper 80's with lows around 70-degrees.  Friday could still see some isolated storms but in all under partly sunny skies.  Highs Friday in the upper 80's.
