June 29th, 2013 Forecast

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 9 PM for our entire area.  I'm sure many of us are used to this by now.  Expect scattered thunderstorms during the evening hours, some of which could produce very heavy rain and perhaps flooding.  Strong winds are also possible, but we have little to no tornado threat tonight.  Lows will be around 70 in Philly and in the mid to upper 60s in the suburbs.

Saturday will be just like today.  Look for a mix of sun and clouds with pop-up afternoon thunderstorms.  It will be another humid day with a high in the mid to upper 80s inland.  The Shore will be in the low 80s thanks to a cool ocean.

There really isn't much else to say for the next 6 days.  Sunday through Friday will all feature some sun, some clouds, and a chance for afternoon thunderstorms.  On the plus side, there are no 90+ degree days in the forecast, although the mid 80s we'll experience will feel more like upper 80s to near 90 when you factor in the the humidity.  Don't cancel any outdoor plans because no day of the next 7 appears to be a wash-out.
