June 4th, 2013 Forecast

Some spots could see one more shower or thunderstorm this evening.  After that, skies will gradually clear and it will turn cooler and less humid overnight.  Lows will dip down into the 50s for all of us, so you'll finally be able to shut off that air conditioner and open the windows back up for sleeping.

Tuesday will be one of the nicest days of the year.  Look for wall-to-wall sunshine and highs in the upper 70s in the city with most of the suburbs in the mid 70s.  The Shore will also be very nice with highs ranging from 70 to the low 70s.

Wednesday will be another top-10 weather day with just a few clouds and highs again in the mid and upper 70s.  Thursday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with highs making a run toward 80.

Tropical Storm Andrea could be forming off the Florida coast later this week, and it could impact our weather on either Friday or Saturday.  All we'll have to worry about is remnant rainfall -- not much in the way of wind -- since it will likely lose tropical storm strength by the time it makes it this far north.  If you believe the Euro, we'll get wet from it on Friday.  If you believe the GFS, we'll get wet from it on Saturday instead.  Either way, it looks dry for the second half of the weekend.  We'll certainly keep an eye on it for you throughout the week.
