Mostly Sunny with Scattered Aftenoon Thunderstorms-

As of 7am, its a warm and humid across the region with temperatures in the upper 60's to lower 70's.  Skies are mainly clear.  High pressure has parked itself in the Atlantic, off the Southeast coast and will be the driving force for our weather this week.  We'll see almost similar conditions to what occurred yesterday, with lots of sunshine through the day and scattered thunderstorms developing during the afternoon and evening.  Another shortwave will be moving through the region today that will help to ignite the storms, although they will not be as numerous as yesterday.  Any storms that do occur will mainly produce locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds.

Highs today will again be in the upper 80's to lower 90's with a slight breeze from the WSW around 10 mph.  It will be hot and also feel muggy with the higher dew points in the area.
