Scattering Of Showers For Some Later

Temperatures are largely in the 60's this morning with sunshine in the northern half of the region. Clouds are creeping in from the south and will push north through the course of the day as a southerly flow aloft and at the surface brings about more humidity, more moisture, and a chance of scattered afternoon showers and storms.

With the humidity factor creeping in today, any shower or storm that does fire could potentially produce heavier rainfall in localized areas.  Not everyone gets wet today, most will see more cloudiness and most will feel the humidity creep up.

Highs this afternoon get into the 80's for most, with the Shore generally in the upper 70's.

Today's humidity increase will set the stage for an increase in temperatures for a chunk of this week. We'll have details on that later this AM.
