A Warmer Tune To Close Out The Work Week

After yesterday's clouds and rather cool (by July standards) weather, we're going to warm up, clear out, and enjoy a rather nice July afternoon. One could argue it'll be even nicer than yesterday from a sunshine standpoint although you will have to deal with warmer temperatures as the trade off.  Today won't be hot by any stretch but temperatures will be a lot closer to normal than yesterday's mid 70's high in the city, cooler at the Shore.

Expect a high in the region this afternoon in the mid 80's -- dew points around 60 will keep the airmass tolerable and not terribly humid. It'll be a great close out to the work week, setting us up for a seasonably warm but unsettled weekend as a storm system now in the Midwest impacts us this weekend with showers and storms.  More on the weekend storm threat later on today.
