Cooler, A Bit Less Humid, But A Shower/Thunderstorm Possible

Relief from the  heat is finally here as cooler, less humid air will be moving through the region today.  Temperatures are in the lower 70's as of 7am.  A weak cold front will move through and eventually stall out just south and east of the area.

While it will not be as hot and humid as the past few days, some spots may still hit the 90 degree mark, especially from the city and points south and east.  This is also where the best chance for a shower or thunderstorm is possible.  Currently, there are a few showers in PA west of city over Chester and Lancaster counties.

Overall we'll see a mix of clouds and sunshine today.  The shower and thunderstorm threat will be possible throughout the day for southern areas.  Any storms that do fire should not be severe and many put down lightning and brief heavy rains.
