Humidity You Can Almost Cut With A Knife

Another day, another disturbance, another chance for thunderstorms. This time, we're adding an extra notch of more humidity to the mix and making it ever more muggy for you as dew points will be in the 70's through the region.

Showers and storms are in the offing for tomorrow afternoon and evening as the disturbance approaches the region but we could see initiation in storms as early as mid morning to the city's west.  Any shower or storm could produce locally drenching downpours and the risk of very strong winds, with a severe storm or two not out of the question.  Some locations will pick up an inch or two of rain, others will pick very little rain out of tomorrow's storms.

Temperatures will end similar to the last couple of days -- the upper half of the 80's, perhaps near 90 in a few spots by day's end. With humidity factored in, the heat index will be about five degrees warmer than the air temperature.
