July 12th, 2013 Forecast
Tonight, clouds and precipitation will stick around. Thankfully, temperatures will start to drop as a bulk of the shower activity and a cold front moves through. Low's tonight will drop to the lower 70's around the metro and into the mid- to upper 60's to the north and west and south and east. Winds will be light, starting from the southwest becoming more northerly to the north. Tomorrow, much of the same. Mostly cloudy skies and much cooler. Highs unseasonably cool in the lower upper 70's to lower 80's. Towards the shore, high will only rise into the mid- to upper 70's.
Saturday and Sunday look similar. Partly to mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers and thunderstorms both days. High temperatures will jump into the mid- to upper 80's with lows in the lower 70's. While the entire weekend won't be a washout, occasional showers and thunderstorms could put a temporary damper on any outdoor activities. At the beach, highs will be in the upper 70's with shower chances as well. By the start of the next workweek, we'll be back up near the 90-degree mark under partly sunny skies and more showers possible. Tuesday, we'll finally get rid of the showers but we'll be back in the lower 90's. More humid on Wednesday under hazy sunshine. By next Thursday, we'll see sun and clouds in the lower 90's.
