There will be plenty of stars out there tonight, but it will be another stuffy and muggy night. Lows will struggle to drop below 80 in the city, and the suburbs will be in the low and mid 70s.
Wednesday could be the hottest day of the year so far, but luckily humidity won't be too bad. It'll still be a bit humid, but it will be more humid Thursday and Friday. Look for blazing hot sun with highs in the mid to upper 90s. Heat indices will be right around 100 as dew points hold in the mid to upper 60s.
Thursday and Friday will be more humid as dew points climb back into the low 70s. With highs around 95 both days, it'll feel closer to 105 with the higher dew points. There's a small chance for a pop-up thunderstorm Friday afternoon.
A weak cold front will slide through from northwest to southeast on Saturday. There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, some of which could be strong to severe. This will be the last day of heat wave # 4.
Humidity will lower on Sunday with the lowest humidity by the late afternoon hours. Temperatures will be right where they should be this time of year, in the upper 80s. More seasonable weather will follow for the start of next week with low humidity.
