July 3rd, 2013 Forecast

Showers and storms will become spotty later tonight.  The best chance of rain tonight will be during the evening, most likely to the west and southwest of the city, with diminishing storm chances later on tonight.  Look for stuffy and muggy conditions otherwise with a low in the low 70s in the city and around 70 in the suburbs.

Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday, but there will probably be equal (if not more) dry periods than wet periods.  It will be fairly warm with continued tropical humidity.  The high will be in the upper 80s but it will feel closer to 90.

We'll start to dry out by the 4th of July, and each day from the 4th through Monday will just feature the chance for an afternoon or evening thunderstorm from the build-up of heat and humidity.  We should be at 90+ from Thursday through Tuesday, and this could end up as heat wave # 3 if we do end up with at least 3 consecutive days of 90.
