Lots of clouds and even some fog in areas cover the region this morning. Its also quite muggy. Temperatures as of 7am are in the lower 70's. A stalled frontal boundary is draped across the southern portion of our region. This in combination with a trough axis at upper-levels and shortwaves will help to ignite showers and thunderstorms during the day. These will likely be occurring more during the afternoon and evening hours.
Winds today will be out of the east and southeasterly direction. With all the clouds around, temperatures will not be able to rise a whole lot. Highs for the most part will range from the lower to middle 80's.
It will remain unsettled through tomorrow and possibly Wednesday as well before nicer and drier weather arrives for later in the week.
