August 14th, 2013 Forecast

There could be a few showers or storms around until about midnight, but after that the clouds will break up and the humidity will decrease.  Lows will range from the mid 50s in the Lehigh Valley to around 65 in Center City.  There will be a bit of breeze, becoming northwesterly overnight at 10 to 20 mph.  As a side note, tonight is the last sunset at 8:00 PM or later.  Tomorrow night it sets as 7:58 PM.

Wednesday will be much brighter than Tuesday, so get out and enjoy the gorgeous weather if you can.  It will be cooler and less humid with highs only reaching the upper 70s in Philly.  Again, there will be a bit of a breeze out of the northwest at 10 to 20 mph.

High pressure will be in control right through Friday, bringing us bright sunshine and simply awesome weather with highs in the low 80s.

As an area of low pressure moves up the East Coast, there is still a bit of uncertainty for the weekend.  It looks as if any showers or storms will stay south and east of the Delaware Valley, but extreme South Jersey or Delaware could get wet for a brief period either day.  A frontal boundary could ignite a few showers or storms on Monday, but the day shouldn't be a wash-out.  By Tuesday, the weather turns nice again.
