August 21st, 2013 Forecast

There will be a few clouds around this evening, but skies will become mostly clear overnight.  Tonight is the full moon, and viewing of it will be excellent, so enjoy it if you're out and about tonight or early tomorrow morning.  Lows will be as cool as the upper 50s in the Lehigh Valley, but it will be warm and muggy in the city with a low only around 70.

We'll start with plenty of sun on Wednesday, but more clouds will move in during the afternoon.  The afternoon will be hot, but only a bit humid with dew points in the mid 60s.  Highs will be around 90 degrees away from the Shore.

Thursday won't be as warm as originally thought due to some extra clouds and pop-up thunderstorms.  The trigger for these storms will be an approaching cold front.  Consequently, it will be less humid on Friday behind the front.  Cooler, more seasonable air will arrive for the weekend.

Another cold front will approach early next week, so we'll throw the threat for storms in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday.  Right now, the better chance of wet weather appears to be Tuesday.
