August 29th, 2013 Forecast

Showers and storms will taper off later this evening, but watch out for heavy downpours in the meantime.  We'll be left with a warm and muggy night with lows ranging from 65 to 70 degrees.

Thursday will be much drier than today, but I can't rule out an isolated afternoon thunderstorm as a weak cold front moves through.  Look for a mix of sun and clouds, and it will remain humid.  Highs will be near 85 inland and closer to 80 at the Shore.

Friday looks like a dry day, and if you're starting your holiday weekend early, it also looks like the driest day of the weekend.  The shower and thunderstorm threat is in the forecast beginning on Saturday.  A disturbance will move through on Saturday, then a warm front on Sunday, followed by a cold front on Labor Day.  Don't cancel any outdoor plans just yet because no day appears to be a wash-out as of now, but we will keep an eye on this for you throughout the rest of the week.
