August 5th, 2013 Forecast

If you still have your air conditioner on, tonight is the night to shut it off and open up the windows.  The majority of our region will fall into the 50s overnight, with the city holding right near 60.  Our normal low this time of year is 69 degrees, so we'll be well below that number.  Skies will be clear overnight, making it a great night for star gazers.

Monday will bring us a taste of September.  It will be a cool and bright start to the day, but a few afternoon clouds will pass through, similar to Sunday.  Highs will struggle to reach 80 degrees inland.  The Shore will be even cooler, in the mid 70s.  Our normal high this time of year is 87 degrees.

Tuesday will start off nice, but in the afternoon some showers and thunderstorms will move in from the west.  Wednesday will feature a return of the humidity along with scattered showers and thunderstorms.  A few leftover storms are possible Thursday before more widespread storms arrive for Friday.

Luckily, the weather will improve for the weekend.  Saturday and Sunday both look dry, with the latter half being less humid.
