Nice Close To Work Week
With the exception of a shower or storm around to our north in the afternoon, the region should deal with a pretty nice day overall. Lower humidity levels, increased amounts of sunshine, and temperatures that end up pretty close to normal overall for early August.
Best chance of showers occur farther north -- generally above I-80 and along the New York/Pennsylvania border, but modeling does suggest the chance that a shower or two will pop across the Lehigh Valley or Berks County into the Poconos.
Expect highs this afternoon mainly in the mid 80's through the region -- warmest along I-95 and across interior South Jersey. Breezes will be from the west at 7 to 14 mph. A better chance of storms exists in tomorrow's forecast across the region as a trough and reinforcing shot of dry air approaches the region.
