Pleasant with a Mix of Clouds and Sun

Temperatures vary this morning as of 7am with with lower 50's in the northernmost areas where skies are mostly clear to the middle 60's in southernmost sections where clouds are more abundant.  Upper 60's reside along I-95.  High Pressure continues to build into the area in wake of a cold front that moved through the region yesterday morning.  The front has stalled out over central Virginia.  There are a few showers in that area, just south of Washington, D.C. currently and these are moving due east.  If they hold together, areas in extreme southern Delaware could see these move through during the morning hours.

But for the most areas, we'll see a sunny, dry day, with pleasant conditions.  With the stalled front to our south, areas from the city and points south and east will see a mixed bag of sunshine and clouds.  As you travel north of the city, skies will remain mostly cloud free, closer to the center of high pressure.

Variable winds this morning with shift to the south this afternoon.  Temperatures this afternoon will get into the 80's in most parts, perhaps as high as the mid 80's depending on how much sun we get.

We have a chance of showers and storms in the forecast in spots tomorrow as a weak system moves through the region.
