Fantastic Friday

A cool...almost chilly...start to Friday around the region as temperatures are in the 50's out of the gate. Sunshine and light winds, plus high pressure overhead, will allow temperatures to recover quite a bit from these cool readings. We're not talking near normal warmth (low 80's) but we are talking a very nice afternoon in the Delaware Valley.

Expect low to mid 70's as the common afternoon high temperature for the region -- the average in Philly is 81, which means we'll be several degrees below average by day's end. That said, with light winds and plenty of sunshine, it's going to be a beautiful day in the neighborhood or wherever you end up going.

Another cool night awaits -- although it may not be quite as cool for many of us as last night, but we will continue the nice weather meme into Saturday as high pressure continues to keep us in a fair weather state of mind.
