October 1st, 2013 Forecast

Other than a few clouds this evening, skies will become mostly clear overnight.  Temperatures will remain mild overnight with everyone holding above 50.  The coolest suburbs will fall into the low 50s and the city will drop into the upper 50s.

Our summer-like weather pattern will arrive on Tuesday.  Expect a mostly sunny day with a warm breeze out of the southwest and west.  Highs will be near 80 in most areas, perhaps breaking 80 south of the city.

Wednesday will be even warmer with many places reaching the low to mid 80s.  Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, remain warm with highs right around 80.  A cold front will approach from the west on Sunday, and if it interacts with some tropical moisture moving up from the south, we could receive a period of heavy rain and downpours.  Behind the front, temperatures will cool down next week.
