September 18th, 2013 Forecast

Tonight will most likely end up cooler than last night.  Most, if not all, areas will drop into the 40s overnight -- ranging from the low 40s in the Lehigh Valley to the upper 40s in Center City.  Winds will be a little lighter than last night, and if you're a stargazer, skies will be crystal clear.

Wednesday will be another sunny day, but temperatures will be milder than today.  Highs will be in the mid 70s in Philadelphia and in the low 70s in the suburbs.

High pressure will remain in place for Thursday.  Temperatures will be even milder on Thursday and rise back into the 80s by Friday.  A cold front will be approaching from the west for the weekend, but right now it appears that any shower and thunderstorm activity will hold off until Saturday night.  Sunday will feature scattered storms, but once the front pushes off the coast the first part of next week looks brighter with seasonable temperatures.
