September 23rd, 2013 Forecast

After last night's cold front brought the Delaware and Lehigh Valleys some quick rain showers, we're left with a brilliant day to usher in the beginning of autumn.  Fall began at 4:44PM.  Through the first week of fall, it looks like we'll be left with a great stretch of weather with no real big chance of precipitation.

Tonight will be mostly clear and cool with lows forecasted to dip into the upper 40's around the city, the mid-40's to the south and east and even the lower 40's to the north and west.  Some locales may see lows in the upper 30's if the winds doesn't pick up.  It could be breezy at times too, with winds from the north at 5 to 15 mph.  For the start of the workweek, another nice day, but cool.  Highs will only rebound into the mid- to upper 60's with that persistent north wind.

Temperatures warm back up to near normal for Tuesday with still mostly sunny skies and an overall nice day.  Highs will be in the lower 70's and lows in the lower 50's.  Wednesday and Thursday will feature partly to mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid-70's with lows in the mid-50's.  Friday, another great start to the first full weekend in fall, with wall to wall sunshine and overall very comfortable with highs in the mid-70's and lows in the upper 50's.  Saturday and Sunday both looks like winners, with highs in the mid-70's with... yep, you guessed, lots of sunshine.
