September 3rd, 2013 Forecast

Scattered thunderstorms will continue into this evening.  Heavy downpours and gusty winds are possible with any of these storms.  Tonight will be the last of the warm and muggy nights for the next few days.  Lows will range from the mid 60s to the low 70s.

Tuesday will be much drier than today, but a leftover shower or thunderstorm is possible at any time.  Otherwise, look for a mix of sun and clouds, and humidity will drop throughout the day as west-northwest winds pull in some drier air.  By the end of the day, dew points will fall back to comfortable levels in the upper 50s.  Highs will be near 85 in the city, and in the low 80s in the Lehigh Valley and at the Shore.

Starting Wednesday, just in time for back to school, the weather looks fantastic with plenty of sunshine and low humidity.  It may even feel like fall on Friday with highs only in the 70s.  The weekend looks warmer with dry conditions continuing.
