September 5th, 2013 Forecast

If you enjoyed last night's weather, you will enjoy tonight just as much.  Skies will be mostly clear with just passing high clouds at times, and lows will be about the same as they were this morning.  The city will drop into the mid 60s, and the cool spot in our area will be the Lehigh Valley in the mid to upper 50s.

Thursday will be a touch cooler than today, and a northwest breeze at 10 to 20 mph may make it feel like fall for some people.  A weak cold front will pass through and bring us a few high clouds, but plenty of sunshine is still expected.  Highs will be near 80 in the city, a few degrees warmer south and east, and a few degrees cooler north and west.  Thursday night will be quite cool with lows dipping into the 50s, and 40s are likely in the Lehigh Valley.

Friday will feature a real taste of fall with a cool start in the 40s and 50s and daytime highs struggling to reach 75.  We'll have a warming trend over the weekend with dry, comfortable weather continuing.  Our next chances of showers come on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
