Sunny and Cool

Its a cold start this morning.  Temperatures as of 7am are in the middle 40's for most locations.  The only exception is near the Poconos where some spots are in the upper 30's.  In the wake of yesterday's frontal passage, High Pressure and fall-like air has moved into the region.  There will be lots of sunshine today, with a few clouds closer to the coastal areas.

With the High situated on New England and pegged to move east, winds from the north will turn to a more northeasterly direction.  Temperatures will be a bit chilly for this time of year with highs only reaching the mid to upper 60's.

Warmer temperatures will arrive for later in the week.  In fact, looking ahead at the rest of the month, temperatures will be warm running average to slightly above average.
