Simply put, today's offering a five star gem in the weather department...once we get through the crisp start outside. Temperatures in the 40's in much of the region early this morning under clear skies will give way to lower 70's by day's end with plenty...and we mean plenty of sunshine.
High pressure dominates the weather today, with a bit of a west-northwest breeze from midday into the afternoon hours thanks to low pressure over New Brunswick and Nova Scotia contributing a bit of a pressure gradient between it and the high. Sunshine rules the roost otherwise.
The weather will remain quiet through the week and likely through the weekend as well. So, expect more of the same each afternoon...with a gradual warming trend likely to kick in late this week.
