Decent Line Of Wind & Rain Pushing East

Radar at 8 PM is showing a narrow line of gusty wind and rain, pushing east and northeast. Winds have gusted to over 40 miles per hour with the line as it has pushed through Central Pennsylvania, marking the boundary that separates the warmth and muggies in our region with cooler air that will work in for tomorrow.

The heaviest rains with this line will pass to the city's north later this evening but the city will probably get grazed by this as it works through after 10 PM.  Allentown and Reading will probably pick up a bit more rain overall than the city itself will but rainfall amounts overall will be modest -- generally a quarter inch or so north, less than that city and south.

No severe weather has been reported through 8 PM but a brief shot of heavy rain, some gusty wind, and perhaps a few rumbles of thunder can't be ruled out as this line pushes east and east-northeast through Pennsylvania and towards New Jersey over the next few hours.
