Not Quite Record Warmth But Still Warm

We're starting with temperatures in the 50's and low 60's around the region this morning -- it's a mild start and we'll have a rather warm (by October standards) finish around the region today. Expect plenty of sunshine out there and with the combination of high pressure to our south at the surface and also aloft, temperatures will climb markedly through the course of the day today.

Our record high in Philadelphia is 87, Atlantic City's is 85. AC will come very close to tying their record, Philadelphia probably will miss it a couple of degrees.  Elsewhere, record high marks are a bit too high for breaking. Regardless, it will still be warm throughout the Delaware Valley for the second day of October, with an August-like feel to the air around here. Thankfully, it won't feature August-like humidity!
