October 19th, 2013 Forecast

This evening, another mostly clear and cool night.  If you're looking for something to do around dinner time, check out the partial lunar eclipse, that will be visible in our area around moonrise, just after 6PM.  We'll drop down to the upper 40's here in the city, but into the lower 40's towards the north and west and into the mid-40's to the south and east.  Winds will die down tonight, out of the west at around 5 mph.  Tomorrow looks to be the only fly in the ointment.  Partly cloudy throughout most of the day, but there is a chance for some isolated showers by the afternoon, but nothing that will wash out any plans you might have.  Temperatures will remain in the mid-60's to up near the 70-degree mark.  Winds will shift to out of the south at 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday looks to be the best day of the weekend, with mostly sunny skies and slightly cooler temperatures, into the mid-60's.  Monday mostly sunny skies again with temperatures back up into the upper 60's.  Tuesday, temperatures remain in the mid-60's under partly sunny skies.  Tuesday into Wednesday, we'll see a frontal system come through the region.  While it isn't in my forecast and the GFS isn't hinting at it I wouldn't be surprised if someone saw a brief shower Tuesday into Wednesday.  Stay tuned for that one.  Wednesday, we drop the temperatures down into the upper 50's, but still with mostly sunny skies.  Low temperatures are hovering in the lower 40's.  Thursday and Friday look similar, with temperatures in the mid-50's for highs and in the lower to mid-40's for lows, all under mostly sunny skies.
