October 2nd, 2013 Forecast

Despite clear skies tonight, temperatures will remain mild through the night.  The coolest suburbs will drop into the mid 50s, and Center City will hold in the low 60s by daybreak.

Wednesday will be sunny and warm -- it will feel more like summer than fall.  Highs will reach the mid 80s in many locations, especially the city and south.  The record high in Philadelphia is 87 degrees, set back in 2002, but this will likely be safe.

Highs will reach 80 or above right through Saturday with Friday likely ending up as the warmest day of the week.  We could even touch 80 on Sunday and Monday, too, but it's too far out to definitely say we will.  The cold front we've been mentioning for the weekend has now slowed down and will likely hold off until Monday or Tuesday, so the weekend looks great!
