October 6th, 2013 Forecast

It will be warm and muggy again tonight with lows holding in the 60s for just about everyone.  Patchy fog will likely develop by dawn like it did this morning, but since it will be Sunday it shouldn't cause too many problems.  I can't rule out an isolated shower or brief downpour north and west of the city overnight, but the majority of the region will stay dry.

Sunday will be another warm and humid day with a mix of sun and clouds.  Again, I can't rule out an isolated shower or brief downpour north and west of the city, but the majority of the region will stay dry.  High temperatures may be a couple of degrees "cooler" than today, but we'll still end up in the low 80s in the afternoon.

As a cold front and the remnants of "Karen" approach us on Monday, clouds will thicken throughout the course of the day.  Most, if not all, of the daylight hours will be dry, but a good soaking rain will arrive late in the day or in the evening.  I'd expect 1 to 2 inches of rain from this, and we can definitely use the rain.  Also, an occasional wind gust to 25 or 30 mph can't be ruled out, but most of this unsettled weather will occur while we're already home from work or sleeping for the night.

By the time you wake up Tuesday, most of the rain will be out of here, and the sun will return by the afternoon.  Humidity will drop through the day, so the afternoon will be very comfortable.  The rest of the week also looks comfortable with sun, clouds, and highs 70 to 75.
