October 7th, 2013 Forecast

The uncomfortable sleeping weather continues tonight along with some more patchy fog.  A spotty shower or thunderstorm is possible in just about any spot, but the key word there is spotty, so most areas won't see one.  Lows will drop into the 61 to 66 range overnight.

Monday could potentially be our last 80+ degree of the year.  The day will start with a little bit of sun, but clouds will quickly take over and thicken throughout the morning.  A brief shower or thunderstorm could pop up ahead of the cold front, with steadier rain and thunder spreading in from the west during the afternoon hours.  Expect a humid high around 80 degrees.  Monday afternoon and evening is when the steadiest, heaviest rain will fall.  Expect about 3/4 to 2 inches of rain and wind gusts that could reach as high as 40 mph in the heaviest of rain and wind Monday evening.

There could be leftover clouds around on Tuesday morning, but then the sun breaks out in the afternoon.  Wednesday through Friday will feel rather cool after our week of "Augtober" with plenty of sun and highs only near 70.  However, that is right around where we should be this time of year, so all we're doing is returning to normal.  Temperatures will be a touch milder for the weekend with dry weather continuing.
