Temperatures as of 7am are in the mid to upper 40's from the city and points north and west, with lower 50's in southern New Jersey and Delaware. Clouds are more abundant as you travel south and west of the city. This was the case yesterday and will continue to be today.
High Pressure to our north over northern New England will dominate our weather today. The weak area of low pressure well to south as well as a cold front to the west, will continue to provide cloud cover over the southern and western most portions of the region, mainly in Delaware. Those areas did not see any sunshine yesterday, but will see some today as the clouds will be decreasing through the day. We'll see a mix of clouds and sun in areas close to the city and as yo u travel north, skies will be mostly sunny.
Winds will continue to be off the ocean in an east-northeasterly direction, but lighter than over the weekend. Highs today will be close to average for this time of year, topping out in the upper 60's, with a few spots in areas close to the city getting over 70 degrees.
