Breezy with Sun and Clouds

Temperatures are quite mild for this time of year this morning.  Some places are already at or past their normal high for this date.  As of 7am, temperatures are in the mid to upper 50's.  A cold front that brought the rains overnight has pushed through our area and has moved offshore.  There are some still lingering showers in New Jersey, mainly closer to coastal areas.  These should be gone in the next two hours.

For today, things will dry out and we'll see more sunshine and less clouds through the day.  High temperatures will reach the 60's for most locations, with a few of the southern most spots getting close to 70 degrees.  Though temperatures will have a spread from north to south.  Despite the cold front moving through, we'll have a westerly wind causing a down sloping effect off the mountains, so that will keep things warm through the day and the cooler air won't arrive until tonight.

Winds will increase from the west and be quite gusty at times, upwards of 25 mph.
