A cold front will slide through the region late tonight, bringing in much colder air for the next two days. Out ahead of this front, there will be a line of rain and snow showers. There will not be any accumulation of snow, but don't be surprised if you wake up and see some flakes flying. Lows will drop into the mid to upper 30s overnight.
Tuesday will be quite cold with highs only reaching the low 40s in Philadelphia, and there may be a few isolated areas north and west of town that don't even reach 40. Look for an early rain or snow shower from the cold front, but the front will clear the coast by midday and some of us will see the sun break through the clouds late in the afternoon.
The chilly weather will persist on Wednesday before a warmer area of high pressure arrives for the remainder of the week and through the weekend. We'll be making a run at 60 degrees again by Saturday, and we may break 60 on Sunday and Monday.
