High and mid level clouds will work over the region as milder air pushes in aloft, combined with easterly winds at the surface that will nudge in additional moisture at the surface and some lower clouds as well. After a chilled start in the Delaware Valley, we should moderate a fair amount during the day today, with temperatures getting into the mid 50's this afternoon.
Despite the additional cloud cover, we should be dry around the region through the course of the day. Winds will also be light, generally from the east at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Temperatures will continue to moderate over the next couple of days, reaching their warmest on Thursday out ahead of a cool front that will cross the region during the afternoon hours with showers.
